The Doctrine

Before April 6, 2025, the word “Trumponomics” circulated through books, campaign discourse, articles and political commentary as a slogan associated with President Donald J. Trump. Whether used by supporters or opponents, it remained part of the political rhetoric surrounding his campaigns, presidency and the consequences attributed to policies pursued under his leadership.

On April 6, 2025, Joseph Deeb published The Official Birth of the Trumponomics Doctrine: The New Wealth of Nations, founding and formally articulating the Trumponomics Doctrine as an integrated economic discipline. Through this work, a term rooted in political rhetoric entered economic thought as a structured inquiry into the performance, indicators and wider consequences visible during the Trump presidency, interpreted against the foundations and historical development of economics.

The Trumponomics Doctrine develops that inquiry through seven original operational tenets, a defined economic architecture and an original vocabulary through which relationships previously dispersed across political commentary can be recognized, connected and studied. This page provides two points of entry into that body of thought: the intellectual distinction that separates “Trumponomics” from the Trumponomics Doctrine, followed by the complete founding treatise in which the discipline was first formulated.
